Gamekeeper fined for failing to check snares

Gamekeeper, Ross Duncan, working for a Highland Sporting syndicate on Crown Land on the Glenlivet Estate has been fined £200 under the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 for failing to check his snares. The decomposed body of a badger was recovered from a snare earlier this year on the ground keepered by Duncan.
