Dog walker blasts snarers

A DOG walker has blasted cruel poachers after his pet was caught in a snare for the second time in three months.

And MSP Cathy Jamieson has called on an all out ban on snares following the horrifying incident.

Back in December, Brian Carey’s dog, four-year-old black lab Kobi nearly chocked to death on a snare.

Anyone with any knowledge of the illegal snares being set in or around Cumnock are asked to contact the police or crimestoppers.
